By Plane

At the departure level of the Bologna airport, you will find the Marconi Express station through a covered walkway. A fast train will take you to the Bologna Centrale railway station, through the pedestrian underpasses you can reach the exit Piazza delle Medaglie D’Oro. From this square in front of the station you can:

  • Take bus 32 and get off, about 6 minutes later, at the bus stop called Porta San Donato, which lies at a distance of merely 5 minutes’ walk from the Summer School venue.
  • Walk to Autostazione (4 minutes’ walk), take bus number 36 from Piazza XX Settembre bus stop  and get off, about 5 minutes later, at the bus stop called Porta San Donato, which lies at a distance of merely 3 minutes’ walk from the venue.
  • If you prefer, you can also choose to get to the venue with a 20 min walk from the Main Train Station (Stazione Centrale) to the Filippo Re Complex.

By Train

If you reach Bologna by train, leave the station through the main entrance and cross Piazza delle Medaglie d’Oro, then you can:
